Why are we always so quick to blame the husband?
On a warm Saturday morning in July of 2008, Nancy Cooper was reported missing by concerned friends. Three days later on July 14th 2008, Nancy's naked body was found face down in a creek miles from her home. Nancy's husband told investigators and friends Nancy left their home for a morning jog around 7 am. Despite any physical evidence, several reports by witnesses who claimed to have seen Nancy jogging that morning, reports of a strange van in the neighborhood days prior and the day Nancy went missing and a lover from years prior who told police he knew Nancy's run route and had confronted Nancy for "saying bs lies" about him, Brad Cooper was convicted in Nancy's death. Is Brad Cooper the victim of a faulty police investigation? Was Brad Cooper the assumed suspect from the very start after a 911 call to Cary police on the day Nancy went missing? Did detectives erase important information from Nancy's phone?
